Ingredients:

  • Peas 1 cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Fresh milk 1/2 cup
  • Rice 2-1/2 cup
  • Chopped mint leaves 1 bunch
  • Cauliflower 1
  • Carrots 2
  • Green chilies 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Chopped onions 4
  • Potatoes 4
  • Green cardamom 6
  • Lemons 6
  • Green beans 10
  • All spices 1 pinch
  • Yellow food color 1 pinch
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Boil rice in pot.
  2. Also put green chilies, some mint leaves, all spice, 3 green cardamom, 1 tbsp white vinegar and salt and boil it 2/4.
  3. Then drain water and keep on strainer.
  4. Now fry chopped onions in pot until golden brown, take out half onions and spread it.
  5. Add yogurt, ginger garlic paste, all spices and 3 green cardamom in half onions, roast it lightly and put tomatoes.
  6. When tomatoes tender, add potatoes.
  7. Then fry cauliflower, carrot and peas lightly in separate pan and put in masalay.
  8. Then add 1 lemon juice and mint leaves, roast for 5 minutes and masala is ready.
  9. Now grease rice pot and make layer of half rice.
  10. Then put sabzi masala.
  11. Then put 1 lemon juice, some crushed fried onion, some mint leaves and make layer of rice again.
  12. Now mix yellow food color in milk and add it.
  13. Also put 1 lemon juice and simmer it.
  14. Steam comes up, remove biryani, mix it, take out in dish and put mint leaves and fried onion.
  15. Serve biryani with yogurt raita.
