Ingredients:

  • Fish (Surmai) 1/2 kg
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves 2 bunch
  • Lemons 2
  • Tomatoes chopped 3
  • Unpeeled garlic 6 cloves
  • Green chilies 8
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Ginger chopped 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

To Wash Fish:

  • Lemon 1
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • White vinegar 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put vinegar on fish, keep for 10 minutes and wash it.
  2. Then put lemon juice and turmeric.
  3. Now mix tomatoes, green chilies and garlic and make chutney.
  4. Then 2 tbsp heat oil in wok and fry chutney.
  5. Then mix 1 lemon juice and salt.
  6. Now heat some oil in other frying pan, fry fish pieces and put fried chutney.
  7. Then heat 1/2 cup oil in other frying pan and put fried fish.
  8. Then add 1 lemon juice, ginger and black pepper and serve hot.

Hara Masala Machli Ki Karahi is spicy & tasty Pakistani Seafood Dish. It is prepared with Fish, Tomatoes & Green Chilies, garnished with Ginger, cooked in Wok and served with Naan & Raita. It is usually served as Night Meal.
