Eggless Vanilla Cake by Zarnak Sidhwa

  • Flour 1-1/2 cup
  • Flour dusting 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Baking soda 3/4 tsp
  • Baking powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Condensed milk 3/4 can
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Butter 1/4 cup
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • White vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1-1/2 tsp
  • Chopped almonds 2 tbsp
  • Raisins 2 tbsp


  1. I bowl, sift flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda and set aside.
  2. In other bowl, add butter, oil, milk,condensed milk and vanilla essence.
  3. Whisk them together to make it creamy and soft.
  4. Add vinegar and combine well.
  5. Add sifted dry ingredients little by little and combine well gently.
  6. Add few spoons of milk to mix well.
  7. After batter is ready, add almonds and raisins.
  8. Simply fold them in batter, but do not whisk them.
  9. Transfer batter into greased and floured baking pan and give it gentle tap couple of times so that air bubbles trapped inside batter escape.
  10. Place baking pan in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  11. Cool and serve.

Eggless Vanilla Cake is a Dessert, prepared with Milk, Almonds, Raisins & Oil and served with Tea.
