Ingredients:

  • Beef mince 400 gm
  • Onion 1
  • Tomatoes 2-3
  • Green chickpeas 1/2 kg
  • Garlic 2 tsp
  • Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • All spice 2 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Dry fenugreek leaves 2 tsp
  • Green chilies for garnish
  • Ginger for garnish
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, put onion, ginger, garlic and beef mince, fry for few minutes, add tomatoes, salt, red chili powder and turmeric and cook on low flame until mince tender.
  2. Now add green chickpeas and 1/2 cup water, cook on low flame for few minutes, add all spice, green chilies, fenugreek leaves, lemon juice and ginger and cover it for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Then garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.

Chana Keema is tasty dish. It is prepared with little different ingredient. Green chickpeas is used in this recipe. Serve it with hot naan & raita.
