Keema Matar Pulao

Ingredients:

  • Peas 2 cups
  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Rice 2-1/2 cups
  • Small cardamom 4
  • Whole black pepper 4
  • Cloves 4
  • Lemons 4
  • Finely chopped onion 4
  • Whole green chilies 6
  • Oil 1 bowl
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Stock:

  • Onion 1
  • Whole mix spice some
  • Ginger 1
  • Garlic 1 pod
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Whole coriander 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pot, fry onion until golden brown and spread half onion on paper.
  2. Put yogurt, ginger garlic paste, small cardamom, cloves, black pepper, peas, mince and green chilies in half onion. and roast it nicely.
  3. Now put put stock ingredients in pot, make stock and put in mince pot.
  4. When stock boils, drain water of rice and add in stock.
  5. Then put green chilies and salt, stir it and cover it.
  6. When water dries, simmer it.
  7. When steam comes up, take out pulao in dish, put fried onion and serve with raita and salad.

Keema Matar Pulao is tasty rice dish. You can add some other ingredients. It is light dish and can be made at any time.
