Moroccan Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast 2
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Mustard paste 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp

For Moroccan Sauce:

  • Butter 1 oz
  • Onion 2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes chopped 2
  • Carrots chopped 2
  • Stock 1 cup
  • Cream 2 tbsp
  • Mixed herbs 1 tsp
  • Caramel sauce 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1/2 tsp

For Brown Rice:

  • Rice 1 cup
  • Oil as required
  • Onion 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with salt, black pepper, mustard paste and lemon juice for 30 minutes.
  2. Now grill on grill pan for 10 minutes.
  3. For sauce: Heat butter, put onion, carrots, tomatoes, stock, mixed herbs, salt and red pepper and fry it.
  4. When tomatoes are soft, take it out and blend it.
  5. Then add cream.
  6. Put chicken in dish, put sauce and serve with brown rice.
