Anda Chana Salan Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Boiled eggs 3-4
  • Kabuli chickpeas 1/2 kg
  • Stock 1 jug
  • Onion 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Chopped tomatoes 2-3
  • All spice powder 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 5-6
  • Whole cumin 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Soda 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Oil 2 cups
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash chickpeas and soak in water with soda overnight.
  2. Then wash chickpeas nicely in morning.
  3. Put stock and chickpeas in pot and soft boil.
  4. When chickpeas are soft, remove from stove.
  5. Then add oil in pan and fry onion until brown.
  6. Now put ginger garlic paste and roast it.
  7. Then add spices and roast for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Masala dries, put tomatoes and mix it nicely.
  9. Masala cooks, mix boiled chickpeas, cook until chickpeas tender and masala are mixed nicely.
  10. Now add eggs and dish out it.
  11. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

Anda Chana Salan is delicious dish. It is common dish in Pakistan. It is prepared with boiled eggs & chickpeas. Serve in tomato gravy and served with hot naan. It is commonly eaten in break fast.
