Chicken Cutlets Recipe

For Chicken:

  • Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
  • Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Fennel seeds powder 2 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Other Ingredients:

  • Finely chopped onions 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped green chilies 2
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Shredded & cooked chicken 1/2 kg
  • Coriander leaves chopped 1 handful
  • Boiled & mashed potatoes 2
  • Salt as required
  • Oil 1 tbsp


  1. Mix chicken with red chili powder, turmeric powder, fennel seeds powder, all spice and salt and cook in covered saucepan until water evaporates and chicken has cooked well.
  2. Stir fry until chicken is light brown.
  3. Shred chicken with fork or blend in food processor.
  4. Heat oil and saute onion till translucent.
  5. Add salt, ginger garlic paste, green chilies and all spice and saute for few minutes.
  6. Now add shredded chicken and mix well.
  7. Add boiled & mashed potatoes and mix it nicely.
  8. Taste if needed, add more salt and coriander leaves and cool mixture.
  9. Make small balls/cutlets of mixture, flatted with palm hands and set aside.
  10. Spread bread crumbs on plate.
  11. Dip in each cutlet in beaten eggs and then coat with bread crumbs.
  12. Deep fry cutlets in oil until golden brown and served with cutlets.

Chicken Cutlets is delicious cutlets. Chicken is cooked with spices and then stir fried.. Then mixed with potatoes and made cutlets. Then deep fried and served with ketchup. Make it in Ramadan.
