Mango Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Rice 2 cups
  • Mango cubes 2
  • Chicken cubes 2
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Crushed red chilies 1 tsp
  • Garlic cloves 4-5
  • Chopped tomatoes 2
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Curry powder 1 tbsp
  • Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 1 tsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnish

Method:

  1. Add water and salt in pot.
  2. When water boils, add rice and boil it.
  3. Now take out rice, strain it, dry water and keep it aside.
  4. Heat oil in pan and fry onion.
  5. Then put ginger and garlic and roast it.
  6. Now put tomatoes, chicken cubes, black pepper, red chilies, curry powder, brown sugar and lemon juice and cook it.
  7. When thick, remove it.
  8. Now put rice in pot, add mixture, put mango cubes and mix with lightly hands.
  9. Then put drops of water and simmer it for 10 minutes.
  10. Then take out in dish, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

Mango Rice is tasty & new rice dish. Rice is boiled. Then tomatoes & spices are cooked, mixed with rice & mango cubes and served.
