Gujarati Kadhi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemons 2
  • Capsicum cubes 2
  • Sliced carrot 1
  • Curry leaves few
  • Finely chopped green onion 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Cottage cheese cubes 1 packet

For Bhagar:

  • Whole red chilies 6
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Mustard 1 tsp
  • Chopped whole coriander 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves few

Method:

  1. Sieve gram flour and mix in yogurt nicely.
  2. Now add red chili powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste and water and make sure water should not be to much.
  3. For bhagar: Put all ingredients in wok, roast it slightly without oil and put sieved masala gram flour.
  4. When 1 boils comes, put salt.
  5. Then heat oil in frying pan, fry cottage cheese slightly and put in wok.
  6. Then fry capsicum, carrot and green onion slightly and add it.
  7. Also put curry leaves, green chilies and lemon juice and simmer it for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve with plain rice.

Gujarati Kadhi is Gujrat, Indian dish. It is tasty dish. Gram flour, yogurt, cottage cheese & fried vegetables are use to prepared this dish.
