For Phulki:

  • Moong daal & maash daal 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Red chili 2 tsp
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Onion 1
  • Green chilies 2
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Oil as required

For Yogurt:

  • Yogurt 1/2 kg
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Green chili paste 2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Button red chili 1 tsp
  • Tamarind pulp 4 tbsp


  1. For phulki: Soak both daal for 2 hours.
  2. Now put cumin, red chili, garlic, onion, green chilies, salt and both daal in blender and blend it.
  3. Then fry mixture in hot oil and soak in water.
  4. For yogurt: Put milk, green chilies paste, salt, cumin seeds and red chili in yogurt and beat it.
  5. Now take out pulki from water and put in yogurt.
  6. Then put tamarind pulp and serve.
  7. It is ready.

Chatkharay Dar Dahi Baray is spicy dish. Phulki is prepared with moong daal, maash daal and green chilies. Blended and soaked. Yogurt mixture is prepared with yogurt, milk and green chilies paste. Add soaked phulki in yogurt and serve.
