Vegetable Kabab Recipe

Vegetable Kabab is very common and popular kabab in Pakistan. It is usually prepared in month of Ramadan.

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes 1 kg
  • Green chilies chopped 5
  • Coriander leaves chopped 1 bunch
  • Carrots chopped 2
  • Peas boiled 1 cup
  • Beaten egg 1
  • Bread crumbs 1 packet
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Oil for frying

Direction:

  1. Boil potatoes in water until soft.
  2. Then remove from flame and cool it.
  3. The peel it and mash it nicely.
  4. Then chop peas and carrots in chopper.
  5. Then put green chilies, coriander leaves, carrots, peas, salt, red chili powder and black pepper in potatoes and mix it nicely.
  6. Then put oil in hands and make round kabab.
  7. Then dip in beaten eggs and coat with bread crumbs.
  8. Then heat oil in pan and shallow fry kabab until golden brown.
  9. Then take out in tissue paper so that it absorbs oil.
  10. Then take out in dish and serve with chutney or ketchup or sauce.

Vegetable Kabab is tasty kabab. Potatoes are boiled, peeled and mashed. Then mixed with green chilies, coriander leaves & carrots peas mixture and made kabab. Then dipped in eggs, coated with bread crumbs and shallow fried.
