Szechuan Beef Recipe
Szechuan Beef is Szechuan, Chinese cuisine. It is different dish. You must try this recipe.
- Beef small pieces 1 kg
- Soya sauce 7 tbsp
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- White pepper 1 tsp
- Cornstarch 5 tbsp
- Hoisin sauce 5 tbsp
- Crushed red pepper 3-4 tbsp
- Chopped green onion 4
- Carrots julienne 1-1/2 cups
- Onions cubes 4 small
- Garlic cloves 2 minced
- Peanuts 1 cup
- Oil 6 tbsp
- Put 4 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp sugar, 3 tbsp oil, white pepper, cornstarch and garlic in bowl and mix it nicely to make marinate.
- Then add beef, marinate it nicely and leave for 30 to 60 minutes in refrigerator.
- Then put 3 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp sugar, hoisin sauce and crushed red pepper, mix it nicely to make sauce and keep it aside.
- Then heat remaining oil in wok on high flame.
- Then add marinated beef and stir fry it for 3 minutes.
- Then add carrots, onions and green onion in meat.
- Then stir fry until vegetables tender.
- Then add sauce and cook it for about 30 seconds.
- Now put peanuts, stir it and cook for 1 minute more.
- Then take out in serving dish and served with boiled rice or boiled noodles.
Szechuan Beef is tasty dish. Beef is marinated with sugar, soya sauce, oil & cornstarch and stir fried in oil with mix vegetables. Then cooked with sauce and stir fried with peanuts. Serve with boiled rice or noodles.
