Romali Kabab, Romali Meetha And Romali Roti by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients For Romali Roti:

  • Flour  1 1/2 cup
  • White flour  1 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour  1/2 cup
  • Oil  2 tbsp
  • Salt  to taste

Method:

  1. Mix the flour and white flour add salt and knead it make it soft.
  2. Pour oil on it and leave.
  3. Now make small portions roll out them into thin chapatti.
  4. Now pour little oil on chapatti and sprinkle rice flour steam it lightly.
  5. Then heat the pan and cook the chapatti.
  6. After that remove it from stove and keep it on a side.
  7. Romali Roti is ready.

Ingredients For Romali Kabab:

  • Chicken mince  250 gm
  • Onion sliced  2
  • Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder  1/2 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper  1 tsp
  • Crushed red chili  1 tsp
  • All spice powder  1 tsp
  • Eggs  1 to 2
  • Romali roti  as required
  • Oil  2 to 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Pour oil in a pan, heat it.
  2. Now add chicken mince and onion slices fry it well.
  3. When onions tender then add ginger garlic paste, chopped cumin, chopped black pepper, chopped garam masala, salt roast it well.
  4. Now put the mixture into bowl take it out and cool.
  5. After that add romali roti cut it into square pieces.
  6. Do the filling  and brush its sides with egg and close it.
  7. Pour oil in a pan, deep fry it.

Ingredients For Romali Meetha:

  • Romali roti  4 to 5
  • Khoya  125 gm
  • Sugar  2 to 3 tbsp
  • Roasted sesame  2 tbsp
  • Melon seed  2 to 3 tbsp
  • Oil  for fry

Method:

  1. First cut the romali pieces cut it into pieces.
  2. Take a mixing bowl add khoya, sugar, roasted sesame seeds and melon seeds.
  3. Now do the filling in its center, tie them with its sides.
  4. Fry them, take it out then serve it.
