Ingredients For Chicken Stew With Onion & Tomato:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Tomato 6
  • Garlic clove 10
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Thyme  1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Nutmeg powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red onion 2
  • Whole black pepper 1 tsp
  • Clove  4
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. First add tomatoes and garlic cloves make its paste and mix it on chicken.
  2. Along lemon juice and salt leave it in fridge for half an hour.
  3. Now pour oil add curry leaves and chopped red onion.
  4. When onion becomes soft then pour water.
  5. Then add cloves, whole black pepper, salt, chopped red chilies and turmeric roast the masala.
  6. Now cover and cook the marinated chicken for 15 minutes.
  7. When the chicken is tendered then turn off the stove and serve it with rice.

Ingredients For Maiday Aur Narial Ka Halwa:

  • Flour 250 grams
  • Jaggery 1/2 kg
  • Ghee 250 grams
  • Cardamoms 6
  • Desiccated coconut 1 cup
  • Almond  50 grams
  • Dry ginger powder 1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg powder 1 pinch
  • Poppy seeds 1/2 cup
  • Coconut milk 1 tin

Method:

  1. First pour ghee heat it and flour roast it.
  2. When it becomes golden brown keep it temperature low add condensed milk and cardamom.
  3. Add melted jaggery with flour.
  4. Now keep its temperature low add fennel seeds and chopped nutmeg cover it.
  5. After that add almonds, chopped coconut roast it well.
  6. When it becomes brown then put it on halwa mix and then serve.
