Ras gulla

Ingredients:

  • Sugar 1 kg
  • milk 3 ltr
  • cardamom 5 pcs
  • reetha 5 pcs
  • citric acid (tartari) 1 tsp
  • water as required
  • almond and pistachios for garnish

Method:

  1.  Boil 2 kilos of milk , mix tartari and water together and add this into the milk and let the milk curdle.
  2. Then pour the curdled milk in a malmal cloth and sieve.Next knead it and make small balls
  3. Make a syrup out of the sugar and add reetha water to it.
  4. When it starts to foam add in the small balls and let them cook.
  5. Then dip it in the syrup
  6. Ras gulla are ready.

Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients:

  • Flour 1/2 kg
  • egg 1 
  • Yeast 1 tsp
  • salt as required
  • sugar 1 tbsp
  • buttter 2 tbsp
  • Bread powder 1 tbsp
For the filling:
  • Brown sugar 1 cup
  • lemon juice 1 tbap
  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 cup
  • walnuts 1/2 cup
For the icing:
  • Icing sugar
  • vanilla essence 
  • lemon juice
