Fish Cutlets

Ingredients:

  • Rohu or Surmai fish 1 kg
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Grated cottage cheese 1 packet
  • Finely chopped green chilies 6
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Boiled potatoes 3
  • Lemon 3
  • White pepper 1 tbsp
  • Roasted & ground white cumin 1 tsp
  • Rice flour 2 tbsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs as required
  • Eggs 2
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. Put vinegar on fish without washing it for 10 minutes and then wash it.
  2. Then put salt, turmeric and 1 lemon juice on fish.
  3. Then put some oil on frying pan, spread fish pieces and dry its water.
  4. Now mash it with fork nicely and put in bowl.
  5. Then mix potatoes, rice flour, black pepper and red chili.
  6. Now mix cheese, green chilies, coriander leaves and 2 lemon juice separate and keep it aside.
  7. Then put some oil on hands, spread fish mixture on hand, put cheese mixture on center and make cutlets.
  8. Now dip cutlets in beaten eggs and coat with bread crumbs.
  9. Then heat oil in frying pan, fry cutlets until golden brown, take it out and serve with tomato ketchup.

Fish Cutlets is slightly different cutlets. Cheese is stuffed in fish mixture & served with sauce or ketchup.
