Kaali Masoor Aur Chicken Ki Biryani

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 14 pieces
  • Black masoor daal 1 cup
  • Rice 2-1/2 cups
  • Onions finely chopped 3
  • Yogurt 1 bowl
  • Lemons 4
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper crushed 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 6
  • Fresh milk 1/2 cup
  • Yellow color few

For Boiling Rice:

  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies 3
  • Whole mix spice few
  • White cumin 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Small cardamom 4

Direction:

  1. Drain water of soaked daal, put again water again and boil it.
  2. Now wash chicken, add yogurt, ginger garlic and salt and boil it.
  3. Water dries, remove it.
  4. Then boil rice and drain water.
  5. Then fry onion in ghee until golden brown and take out half onion.
  6. Put boiled chicken, red chili powder, black pepper, green chilies and lemon juice in half onion and roast it slightly.
  7. Now grease rice pot and make layer of half rice.
  8. Then make layer of daal and put chicken.
  9. Then put rice again.
  10. Now mix yellow color in milk and put on rice.
  11. Then add lemon juice and simmer it.
  12. When steam comes, it is ready.
  13. Now mix it nicely, take out in dish, add remaining fried onion and mint leaves and serve hot.

Kaali Masoor Aur Chicken Ki Biryani is tasty biryani. Chicken, rice and masoor daal are boiled separately. Then mixed together with green chilies, garnished with brown onion & mint leaves and serve with raita.
