Chilli Fish is tasty and different dish. You must try this seafood dish at home.

Ingredients:

  • Boneless fish 500 gm
  • Maida 1 cup
  • Corn flour 1 cup
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Soya sauce 4 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required
  • Spring onion chopped for garnish

For Sauce:

  • Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Chopped garlic 2 tbsp
  • Green chili chopped 2 tbsp
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Soya sauce 8 tbsp
  • Tomato sauce 10 tbsp
  • Chili sauce 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil as required

Direction:

  1. Cut boneless fish into cubes.
  2. Then put maida, corn flour, baking powder, soya sauce, black pepper, salt and water in bowl and mix it nicely until thick batter.
  3. Then heat oil in wok.
  4. Then dip fish cubes in batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  5. Then remove from stove and transfer into serving dish.
  6. For sauce: Heat oil in pan.
  7. Then add chopped ginger, chopped garlic, chopped green chili and chopped onion and sauté it.
  8. Then add soya sauce, chili sauce and tomato sauce.
  9. Then mix corn flour with little water, add in sauce and stir it nicely.
  10. Once it starts to boil, remove from stove.
  11. Then pour sauce on fried fish and mix it nicely.
  12. Then garnish with chopped spring onion and serve.

Chilli Fish is spicy seafood dish. Fish cubes is dipped in maida, corn flour & soya sauce batter and fried. Sauce is prepared with chopped green chili, soya sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce & corn flour, mixed and boiled. Then poured over fried fish, garnished with spring onion and served.
