Arvi Gosht, Spicy Arvi Salad And Healthy Stir Fry Arvi by Chef Gulzar

ARVI GOSHT

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Colocasia 250 gm
  • Tomato 2-3
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder  1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Oil 4 to 5 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Green coriander for garnish

Method:

  1. Wash the colocasia, boil it and peel it.
  2. Now put salt, fry it, make its slice and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in pan, add ginger garlic paste and roast it.
  4. Then add mutton and roast it.
  5. Then add tomatoes, chopped red chili, chopped turmeric, chopped coriander, all spice masala, chopped cumin, chopped black pepper and salt and roast it.
  6. When masala roasted add water and tender it.
  7. In end, roast colocasia for 1 to 2 minute and take it out in dish.
  8. Then garnish with coriander and serve.

SPICY ARVI SALAD

Ingredients:

  • Colocasia 250 gm
  • Boiled potato 2
  • Boiled chick peas 1 cup
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Chopped tomato 1
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Green coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies 3 to 4
  • Chat masala 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash colocasia with water, boil it and peel it.
  2. Now put salt, fry it and cut into thick pieces.
  3. Then add potato and boil white chick peas.
  4. In one mixing bowl, add white chick peas, boiled potato, chopped tomato, chopped onion, green coriander, green chili, lemon juice, black pepper and salt and mix it
  5. Then mix colocasia in it, sprinkle all spice masala then serve it.

HEALTHY STIR FRY ARVI

Ingredients:

  • Colocasia 250 gm
  • Ginger Garlic 2 tbsp
  • Tomato 2 to 3
  • Carrot 2
  • Capsicum 2
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Red chili crushed 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Green onion 2 to 3
  • Green chilies 3 to 4
  • Chinese salt 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 4 to 5 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash the colocasia, boil it and peel it.
  2. Now put salt, fry it, make its slice and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in one pan, add ginger garlic paste and fry it.
  4. Then add tomato, carrot, capsicum, green onion,  green chilies and stir fry it.
  5. Now add soya sauce, chopped red chili, chopped black pepper, chinese salt and salt and then fry it.
  6. In end, add colocasia and mix it, dish out and serve it.
