Chicken Mirch Masala by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg or 16 pieces
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Whole spices mixed 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1 cup
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Coriander crushed 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Tomatoes chopped 4
  • Capsicum 1 slices
  • Green chilies 4 sliced
  • Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
  • Cream 3 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 4 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped coriander 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in wok, put whole spices, cumin seeds and onion and cook until light golden.
  2. Then add chicken, garlic paste, chili powder, red pepper, coriander crushed, turmeric, black pepper, salt, all spice and tomatoes, cover it and cook until chicken is ready.
  3. Now put cream, yogurt, sugar and capsicum.
  4. in end, add chopped coriander and take it out.
