   RED LENTILS AND POTATOTES PATTIES

INGREDIENTS:

  • Mashed potatoes: 500 gm
  • Boiled red lentils: 150 gm
  • Spring onion: 2-3 strands
  • Eggs: 2
  • Ginger Garlic paste: 2-3 tsp
  • Badaari kand: as required
  • Crushed cumin:1/2 tsp
  • Whole corinader:1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper:1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder:1/2 tsp
  • Soya sauce:1tbsp
  • Bread crumbs: 1cup
  • Olive oil: as required
  • Salt: to taste

METHOD:

  1. Put spring onions, ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds, coriander, badaari kund, black pepper, red chili powder, salt, soya sauce and boiled red lentils in a chopper and chop all together.
  2. Now make kabab of them.
  3. Now stir 2 eggs in a bowl and pour bread  crumbs in a plate.
  4. Now firstly dip kabab in eggs then roll them in bread crumbs and deep fry them.

              VEGETABLE RICE POT

INGREDIENTS:

  • Boiled rice: 300 gm
  • Garlic: 3-4 cloves
  • Green chilies: 1
  • Capsicum: 1
  • Cabbage: half
  • Chopped Carrot: 1
  • Black carrot: 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Tomatoe paste: 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice: 2tbsp
  • Chili sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Spring onion: 2-3
  • Chopped corinader: 1/2 bunch
  • Olive oil: 1-2 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste

METHOD:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry garlic in it, now fry green chili, carrot, cabbage capsicum and chopped corinader in it.
  2. Now add black pepper, turmeric powder, tomatoe paste, lemon juice, turmeric paste and salt in it and cook all together.
  3. Now add boiled rice in it and leave it to cook on a light flame. 
  4. Garnish with green onion and serve.
