Vegetable Tempura by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes 125 gm
  • Carrot 125 gm
  • Capsicum 125 gm
  • Onion 125 gm
  • Lettuce leaves for garnish

For Batter:

  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • Red chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut potatoes, carrot, capsicum and onion into thinly slices.
  2. Put all ingredients of batter except oil in mixing bowl and make thick batter.
  3. Then heat oil in pan, dip vegetable slices in batter and deep fry it.
  4. Now take it out, garnish with salad leaves and serve.
