Spicy Green Masala Chicken by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (8 pieces) 1 kg
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Mint leaves 12
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Yogurt 4 tbsp
  • Green chilies 8
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Egg 1

For Batter:

  • Flour 4 tbsp
  • Gram flour 4 tbsp
  • Rice flour 4 tbsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Green masala (ground) 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Grind coriander leaves, green chilies and mint leaves with yogurt and egg.
  2. Now marinate chicken with this mixture.
  3. Then steam it for 20 minutes until it is approx ready.
  4. Then take it out and cool it.
  5. For batter: Make batter of all ingredients.
  6. Then dip chicken in batter and deep fry it.
  7. Then sprinkle chaat masala.
