Ingredients:

  • Flour 3 cups
  • Warm water 1-1/4 cups
  • Yeast 2-1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 4 tbsp
  • Olive oil 1/4 cup
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Italian seasoning 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1/2 tsp
  • Sliced onion 1 small
  • Green capsicum 1
  • Jalapeno sliced 1
  • Coarse sea salt to sprinkle

Method:

  1. In mixing bowl, add warm water.
  2. Make sure water should not be hot, it should be just warm, as hot water will kill your yeast.
  3. Now add yeast, sugar, salt, oil and flour.
  4. Mix all ingredients together, so that all dough will come together and form ball.
  5. After mixing, dough will be sticky.
  6. Now generously coat palm of your hands with oil, lift sticky dough and place in square greased pan.
  7. Cover it with cloth or cling wrap and set aside.
  8. Let it rise until it gets double in volume.
  9. It will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on weather.
  10. Lightly oil your finger tips and press slightly into dough to make few dimples.
  11. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, crushed red chili and remaining 2 tbsp olive oil.
  12. Spread thinly sliced onion, capsicum and jalapeno all over dough.
  13. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C.
  14. Sprinkle coarse sea salt all over and bake for 20-25 minutes or until top is light brown.
