Cheese Stuffed Rice Balls

For Sauce:

  • Chicken mince 250 gm
  • Finely chopped onion 1
  • Finely chopped tomato 1
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Tomato ketchup 1/4 cup
  • Peas 1/4 cup
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg pinch
  • Cloves powder pinch
  • Cinnamon powder pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp

For Cheese Stuffed Rice Balls:

  • Cold boiled rice 2-1/2 cups
  • Eggs 5
  • Melted butter 2 tbsp
  • Grated parmesan cheese 2 tbsp
  • Grated cheddar cheese 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Mozzarella cheese as required
  • Bread crumbs 1 cup
  • Crushed coriander 2 tbsp
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil for deep frying


  1. Heat oil in pan, add onion and garlic and saute it for few minutes.
  2. Now add chicken mince and cook until water dries.
  3. Then add tomato, tomato ketchup, salt, sugar, black pepper, bay leaf, red chili, cinnamon and peas and saute it.
  4. Then add water, saute until chicken mince is ready and keep it aside.
  5. For cheese stuffed rice balls: Beat 2 eggs, add rice, butter, coriander, salt, black pepper, parmesan cheese and cheddar cheese, cover it and keep in fridge for 20 minutes.
  6. Now divide this mixture into 8 portions and make balls.
  7. Now keep mozzarella cheese in center of each balls and make balls again.
  8. Noe keep balls in fridge for 10 minutes.
  9. Now beat 3 eggs in bowl.
  10. Now sprinkle flour on balls, dip in beaten eggs and roll in bread crumbs.
  11. Repeat this step with other balls.
  12. Then heat oil in pan and fry rice balls until golden brown.
  13. Now take it out on kitchen paper and dry it.
  14. Serve rice balls with chicken mince sauce.
