Mandarin Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Chicken cubes 400 gm
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup

For Batter:

  • Egg 1
  • Flour 3 tbsp
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/4 tsp

For Sauce:

  • Chopped capsicum 1
  • Orange juice 1/3 cup
  • Finely chopped onion 1
  • Corn flour 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Stock 1 cup

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with salt, black pepper and soya sauce.
  2. Now make batter of batter ingredients.
  3. Then dip chicken in batter and deep fry it.
  4. For sauce: Heat oil and fry onion and capsicum until soft.
  5. Now add soya sauce, salt, black pepper, vinegar, ketchup, stock and orange juice.
  6. Dissolve corn flour in water and put it.
  7. When it is thick, take it out.
  8. Now add fried chicken cubes and serve with fried rice and coleslaw salad.

Mandarin Chicken is wonderful dish. Chicken is marinated, coated with batter, deep fried, served in sauce & served with fried rice. Make this chicken dish at home.
