Palak Aur Daal Cutlets

Ingredients:

  • Spinach 1 cup
  • Chana daal 1-1/2 cups
  • Rice flour 1/2 cup
  • Green chilies crushed 6
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped 1 bunch
  • White cumin (crushed & ground) 1 tsp
  • Red chilies crushed 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
  • Bread slices 2
  • Egg whites 2
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. Wash spinach and chop it finely.
  2. Then soak in turmeric water for 5 minutes.
  3. Now wash chana daal with lukewarm water and soak it.
  4. Then drain water, put lukewarm again and boil it.
  5. Remember it daal should be tendered.
  6. Then cool daal, mix bread slices and chop in chopper.
  7. Now drain water of spinach, steam it and dry water.
  8. Then add spinach in daal, mix red chilies, black pepper, cumin, green chilies, coriander leaves and rice flour and mix it nicely.
  9. Then make cutlets, dip in egg whites and deep fry in hot oil.
  10. When golden, take it out and keep on tissue.
  11. Serve palak aur daal cutlets with imli ki chutney.

Palak Aur Daal Cutlets is delicious kabab. The combination of spinach & chana daal is amazing. Served with raita or sauce or chutney.
