Schezwan Vegetable Balls Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Grated cabbage 1 cup
  • Grated carrot 1/2 cup
  • Finely chopped capsicum 1
  • Sweet corn 1/2 cup
  • Maida 5 tbsp
  • Corn flour 5 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Water for batter

For Sauce:

  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic 1 tsp
  • Sweet chili sauce 1/2 cup
  • Chili garlic sauce 1/4 cup
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Stock 1-1/2 cup
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Tomato puree 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients and make batter.
  2. Now fry it like pakoray and keep it aside.
  3. Then put all sauce ingredients in wok, make sauce, put on vegetable balls and serve.

Schezwan Vegetable Balls is delicious dish. It is prepared with mixed vegetables & corn and fried like pakoray. Then served in sauce.
