Chicken Laap Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken mince 250 gm
  • Rice 2-3 tbsp
  • Whole red chilies 4-5
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Fish sauce 2-3 tbsp
  • Chopped green onion 1 cup
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1 cup
  • Chopped mint 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 3-4 tbsp
  • Chopped cauliflower 1/2 cup
  • Cucumber 1
  • Oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Chinese salt 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Fry red chilies on tawa, crush it and keep it aside.
  2. Now put oil in pan, add garlic and chicken mince and roast it.
  3. Then put 1/2 cup water and leave for 10-15 minutes.
  4. When water dries and mince is ready, take it out and cool it.
  5. Now put mince in bowl, add red chilies, fish sauce, coriander leaves, mint, green onion, Chinese salt and lemon juice and mix it nicely.
  6. Now put roasted rice and mix it.
  7. Then take out in salad platter, garnish with cucumber and cabbage and serve.

Chicken Laap is Lao cuisine. It is meat salad. It is prepared with chicken, mince and vegetables.
