New York Style Cheesecake Recipe

New York Style Cheesecake is very popular cake in America. You can also make strawberry sauce or cherry sauce. Make it at home and surprise your family.

Ingredients:

For Cake:

  • Unsalted butter 125 gm
  • Cream cheese 800 gm
  • Sour cream 2 cups
  • Sugar 1-1/2 cups
  • Eggs 6
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
  • Lemon zest 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp

For Sauce:

  • Blueberries 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp

Direction:

  1. Preheat oven on 150 degrees C on gas mark 2.
  2. Grease 10 inch spring-form cake tin, keep baking paper, grease it again nicely and cover tin with foil on sides and bottom.
  3. Now keep paper towel on baking tray and keep baking tin.
  4. Now put cream cheese and butter in large bowl and beat with beater nicely until combined.
  5. Then add sour cream, sugar, corn flour, vanilla essence, lemon zest and lemon juice and beat it nicely until combined.
  6. Now add eggs one at a time beating slowly until all are combined.
  7. Then pour batter in tin and put hot water in baking tray (1 to 2 inch).
  8. Then bake in preheated oven for 135 minutes (2 hours and 15 minutes) or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Then turn off oven, open its door and cool it for 2 hours in oven.
  10. Then take out from oven and cool for 1 hour on wire rack.
  11. Then refrigerate it overnight or for 6 to 7 hours.
  12. For sauce: Put blueberries, sugar and lemon juice in pot, cook and mash it on medium-high flame until thick.
  13. Then cool it.
  14. Then dust powder sugar on cake.
  15. Now cut cheesecake into slices and serving in serving plate with blueberry sauce.

New York Style Cheesecake is delicious and mouth-watering cheese cake. Butter, cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, corn flour and eggs are beaten. Then baked in oven with hot water and cooled. Then dusted with powder, sugar and served with blueberry sauce.
