Daal Murgh Karahi

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Black lentils (Masoor daal) 250 gm
  • Lemon juice 1/2 cup
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Chopped garlic 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tbsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Mustard 1 tsp
  • Almonds 10
  • Green chilies 3
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan and fry chicken.
  2. Now put red chili powder, salt, turmeric, cumin, mustard and water and cover for 10 minutes.
  3. When chicken tender, add black lentils and lemon juice and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Then put green chilies and coriander leaves.
  5. Now take out in dish, put almonds and cream.
  6. Then heat butter and fry garlic.
  7. When aroma comes, put on daal.
  8. Daal murgh karahi is ready.

Daal Murgh Karahi is amazing dish. Its flavors are delicious. It is prepared with black lentils. Served with hot naan.
