Moist Semolina Cookies

Ingredients:

  • Butter 100 gm
  • Oil 100 ml
  • Maida 2 cups
  • Eggs 2
  • Caster sugar 4 tbsp
  • Coconut flakes 2 tbsp
  • Semolina 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp

For Sugar Syrup:

  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Water 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Egg whites 1
  • Almonds, Pistachios for garnish

Method:

  1. Mix sugar, water and lemon juice and make sugar syrup.
  2. For cookies: Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
  3. Now put oil, eggs, vanilla essence, sugar, coconut flakes and semolina, mix it and beat it.
  4. Now put sieved flour and baking powder and make dough.
  5. Make balls of dough, brush with egg whites, put almond and pistachios on top and bake at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.
  6. Take out cookies, put hot sugar syrup and serve.

Moist Semolina Cookies is new cookies. Dough is prepared with maida & semolina mixture, made balls, topped with nuts and baked. Then sugar syrup is put and served. You must try this recipe.
