Chicken Chili Recipe

Chicken Chili is popular Indo-Chinese dish. You must try this chicken dish at home. You can make it more spicy according to your taste.

Ingredients:

For Marination:

  • Boneless chicken 375 gm
  • Chili sauce 2 tsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Corn flour 3 tbsp
  • Maida 3 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Other Ingredients:

  • Soya sauce 2 tsp
  • Chili sauce 1-1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Vinegar 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Onion cubes 2 small
  • Garlic chopped 2 tsp
  • Capsicum cubes 1/2 cup
  • Green chilies slit 2
  • Spring onion chopped 1
  • Oil as required

Direction:

  1. For marination: Marinate chicken with chili sauce, soya sauce and black pepper powder for 2 hours.
  2. Then sprinkle corn flour, maida, salt and red chili powder and mix it nicely.
  3. For sauce: Put soya sauce, chili sauce, red chili powder, black pepper powder, vinegar and sugar in bowl and mix it nicely.
  4. Then heat oil in pan and shallow fry chicken until it is done.
  5. Then keep stirring for frying evenly.
  6. Then keep 2 tsp oil and remove excess oil from pan.
  7. Then put chopped garlic and fry for 1 minute.
  8. Then add onion, capsicum, green chilies and spring onion and fry for about 1 minute or until slightly soft.
  9. Then add sauce and let sauce to bubble up nicely.
  10. Then add fried chicken and mix it nicely.
  11. Sprinkle some water if it looks dry.
  12. Then sauté on high flame for 2-3 minutes.
  13. Then take out in dish and serve hot with fried rice or noodles.

Chicken Chili is tasty and spicy dish. Boneless chicken is marinated with sauce and mixed with corn flour & maida. Then shallow fried in oil. Then sauteed with vegetables and soya sauce mixture. Serve with fried rice or noodles.
