Dahi Wala Degi Korma, Naan Khatai And Mexican Chicken With Fried Rice by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients For Naan Khatai:
Flour 12 ounces
Caster sugar 6 ounces
Ghee melted and chilled 6 ounces
Baking powder 2 tsp
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Elachi powder 1 tsp
Egg yolk for brushing
Pistachio chopped 2 tbsp Method:
First add ghee, custard sugar, chopped cardamom, beat it well until it becomes light and fluffy.
Now add flour, baking powder, baking soda filter it well.
Then add ghee mixture fold it knead it for 15 minutes.
Now make small balls, spread it on a baking tray, brush it with egg yolk.
Then add chopped pistachio, bake it on 190 degree C for 15 minutes then serve. Ingredients For Dahi Wala Degi Korma:
Chicken 1 kg 12 pieces
Onion brown 1/2 cup
Yogurt 1 1/2 cup
Oil 1/2 cup
Chili powder 2 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt 1 1/2 tsp
kewra water 1 tsp
Green cardamom 8
Cinnamon 1 inch piece
Nutmeg 1/4 pieces
Mace 4 pieces Method:
Put onions, cloves, cinnamon, green coriander, nutmeg chop it and keep it on a side.
Now pour oil add chicken pieces, ginger garlic paste, salt and fry it for 5 minutes.
Then add chopped red chilies, chopped coriander, beaten yogurt, chopped onions cook it well.
Now cover it and let it cook, until the chicken tenders.
Now simmer it for 15 minutes.
In the end sprinkle kewra and serve it with sheer maal. Ingredients For Mexican Chicken with Fried Rice:
Chicken 1 kg
Ketchup 1/2 cup
Water 1 cup
Orange color pinch
Salt to taste
Paprika 4 tbsp
Oregano leaves 6
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Oil 1/2 tsp
White sauce 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 For White Sauce:
Butter 2 tbsp
Flour 2 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Paprika 1/2 tsp
Milk 1 cup
Water as required
Fries to serve 1/2 cup For Fried Rice:
Rice boiled 4 cups
Spring onion 1 cup
Oil 1/4 cup
Salt 1 tsp
White pepper 1/2 tsp
Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
Carrot 1 cup Method:
For making white sauce, add butter, flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, milk, pour water let it cook, until it becomes thick.
Then pour oil in a pan add chopped garlic paste, fry it with chicken for 10 minutes.
Now add salt, chopped paprika, orange color, chopped black pepper, water cover and let it cook on 15 minutes.
Then add ketchup, oregano leaves, white sauce, capsicum, chopped onions cook it for 10 minutes, until the chicken tenders. Now serve it with fried rice.
For making fried rice, pour oil add chopped garlic for frying, until it becomes light golden.
Now add boiled rice, salt, white chilies, soya sauce, carrot, green onion toast it and then serve.
