Lauki Daal

Ingredients:

  • Chopped & peeled bottle gourd 1 cup
  • Yellow moong daal 1/2 cup
  • Grated ginger 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice as required
  • All spice 1 pinch
  • Coriander as required
  • Ghee 1 tbsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Dry red chili 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 2-3
  • Chopped ginger julienne 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put bottle gourd and daal with little water in pressure cooker and cook it.
  2. Now add lemon juice, all spice and coriander.
  3. Then mix it one time and take out in dish.
  4. Now heat ghee in pan, add cumin, dry red chili, green chilies and chopped ginger and cook it.
  5. Then put on daal and serve with roti, parathay or bread.

Lauki Daal is tasty dish. The combination of bottle gourd & moong daal is amazing. You must try this recipe.
