Kali Masoor & Murgh Biryani, Apple Bread Pudding And Badami Bhindi by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients For Kali Masoor & Murgh Biryani:

  • Chicken 1-1/2 kg
  • Rice 1 kg
  • Black lentil 1 cup
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Oil  1 cup
  • Mint leaves  1 bunch
  • Small cardamom  4
  • Chopped onion 4
  • Lemons 6
  • Green chilies 8
  • Black pepper 6-8
  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • Butter  1 tsp
  • White vinegar  1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste


  1. First wash the black lentils and boil it.
  2. When it is tendered then add water take it out by filter.
  3. Then boil the chicken by adding yogurt, ginger garlic paste, lemon, chopped mints, green chilies, chopped cardamom, salt boil it without water, when its water dries then remove it from stove.
  4. Then heat it oil, add chopped onions make it golden brown, spread it on paper so that it absorb its oil.
  5. When the rice is boiled then add mint, chopped cumin, green chilies, salt, vinegar, small cardamom mix it well.
  6. When they are boiled 2/4th then change its water.
  7. Then grease some oil on the base of the pan, then make the layer of rice.
  8. Then make layer of chicken, crush the onions with hand, then make another layer in same way.
  9. Rice on the top, then fried onions, lemon juice, heat it high on pan.
  10. After 10 minutes keep its flame low on 10 minutes.
  11. When the steam comes up, remove it from stove, serve the biryani with yogurt or raita.

Ingredients For Badami Bhindi:

  • Lady fingers 1/2 kg
  • Whole coriander 1 tbsp
  • White cumin  1 tsp
  • Black pepper corn 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Whole red chilies 8-10
  • Lemons  2
  • Boiled almonds 15-20
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Butter 1 tbsp


  1. First wash the lady finger put it in filter,, so that all water drain outs, make it dry.
  2. Then cut its upper and lower part, cut it from center.
  3. Now put butter, oil, add whole cumin, red chilies, boiled almonds. Then put the lady fingers.
  4. After that add whole coriander, white cumin, whole red chilies, chop it well, fill the lady finger, stir fry it lightly.
  5. After 10 minutes add salt then serve.

Ingredients For Apple Bread Pudding:

  • Eggs  2
  • Sugar  1 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence  1 tsp
  • Fresh milk  2 1/2 cups
  • Sandwich bread 1
  • Apples  5
  • Butter  2 tbsp


  1. First break the egg, add vanilla essence, salt, beat it well.
  2. Now add sugar, beat it again.
  3. Cut the sides of sandwich bread make its small pieces.
  4. Now pour fresh milk, mix the bread slice, mix it slowly, until the bread absorbs the milk.
  5. Then keep the temperature of oven to 350 degree C.
  6. After that ready the baking dish, add butter.
  7. Now peel the apple cut it into slices.
  8. Then mix the apple in ready mixture.mix it well.
  9. After that mix the ready mixture into baking dish bake it for 10 to 15 minutes.
  10. When it turns to golden brown color, then delicious Apple Bread Pudding is ready.
