Crunchy Prawn, Colcannom And Indonesian Chicken by Chef Zakir

Ingredients For Crunchy Prawn:

  • Prawns 300 gm
  • Corn flakes 1 cup
  • Egg 1
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • Chopped red chilies  1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • White pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Oil  for fry

Method:

  1. First put prawns open it like a book.
  2. Now add beaten egg, chopped ginger garlic paste, chopped red chilies, chopped black pepper, white chilies, salt for marination.
  3. Then add corn flour, flour, mix it well and keep it on a side.
  4. Now add corn flakes crush them with help of hand, take it out in a plate.
  5. Then add prawns, open it like a book, coat it with corn flakes, press it with help of hands.
  6. When all prawns are coated well then pour oil shallow fry it, delicious crunchy prawn is ready.

Ingredients For Colcannon:

  • Cabbage 1
  • Milk  125 ml
  • Boiled potatoes 2
  • Leek chopped  1
  • Nutmeg powder a pinch
  • Butter  3 tbsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Black pepper powder  1/4 tsp
  • Cheddar cheese  100 gm
  • Peas boiled  1/2 cup
  • Capsicum chopped  1
  • Flour roasted  a little

Method:

  1. First add small cabbage, boil it in hot water.
  2. After 4 to 5 minutes, take out the cabbage from water and keep it on a side.
  3. Now pour butter, add chopped leek, chopped nutmeg, boiled potato, capsicum, roast it for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Then add boiled cabbage,boiled peas, salt, black pepper and milk.
  5. When the milk starts to cook then add roasted flour to make it thick.
  6. In the end add cheddar cheese, mix it, take it out then serve.

Ingredients for Indonesian Chicken:

  • Potato 1
  • Pineapple slices 2
  • Carrot 1
  • Bean sprouts 1/2 cup
  • Spring onion 2
  • Chicken breast 2
  • Celery sticks  2
  • Peanut roasted 25 gm
  • Oil 3-4 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Fresh red chili  2
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Black pepper powder  1/4 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Oil  for fry

Method:

  1. First add potato, carrot, cut it into julliene.
  2. Now pour oil in pan, add potato for frying.
  3. When the potato is lightly turned to golden color then take it out and keep it on a side.
  4. Pour oil in a pan, add chopped garlic paste, cook it well.
  5. Then add chicken cook it till its color changes.
  6. Now add chopped carrot, chopped pineapple, sprouts, green onion, chopped celery sticks, cook it more for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Then add fried potato, salt, chopped black pepper, soya sauce, chopped fresh red chilies, lemon juice, mix it well, take it out then serve.
