Fish Noodles Salad, Fish Katakat And Fish Kabab Roll by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients For Fish Katakat:

For Fish:

  • Boneless fish 1/2 kg
  • Gram flour 1/2 cup
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Edible soda 1 pinch
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Oil  for fry
  • Salt  to taste

For Green paste:

  • Green chili 8 to 10
  • Green coriander 1 bunch
  • Onion 1
  • Black pepper  1/2 tsp
  • Chinese salt  to taste
  • Green coriander for garnish

Method:

  1. Take a bowl add boneless fish, beans, chopped red chilies, turmeric, edible soda, garlic paste and salt mix it.
  2. Take a pan pour oil add fish mixture for frying, then keep it on a side after frying.
  3. Now add green chilies, green coriander, onion, chopped black pepper, chinese salt chop it well, keep it on a side.
  4. Now pour oil on a pan make small pieces.
  5. Pour green masala fry it lightly.
  6. Take it out in a dish.
  7. Add green coriander for garnish then serve.
  8. Katakat fish is ready.

Ingredients For Fish Kabab Roll:

For Chapatti:

  • White flour 2 cup
  • Oil  2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Filling:

  • Boneless fish 300 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder  1/2 tsp
  • White flour 1 to 2 tbsp
  • Oil  for fry
  • Salt to taste

For Chutney:

  • Tamarind paste 1/2 cup
  • Roasted cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Green coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Mint  1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies 3 to 4
  • Salt  to taste

Method:

  1. For making paratha: Take a flour, add salt, water knead it well.
  2. Then roll out the paratha and fry it.
  3. For making filling, take a mixing bowl add boneless fish, ginger garlic paste, chopped red chilies, chopped garam masala, baking powder, flour and salt mix it well.
  4. Pour oil fry it well, then take it out and keep it on a side.
  5. For making chutney: Pour tamarind paste, roasted and chopped cumin, green coriander, mint, green chilies and salt blend it and make it thick chutney.
  6. For serving: Pour sauce on paratha, add fish roll it.
  7. Serve it with tomato and sauce.

  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/3 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Olive oil  1 tsp
  • Salt  to taste

For Noodles:

  • Noodles/ spaghetti  100 gm
  • Oil  1 tbsp

For Salad:

  • Sliced onion 1
  • Boiled green beans 50 gm
  • Sliced tomato 1
  • Olives 50 gm

For Dressing:

  • Mustard paste 1 tsp
  • Worcester sauce 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice  2 tbsp
  • Green chilies  2 to 3
  • Chopped garlic 1 to 2 cloves
  • Olive oil  1 tbsp
  • Salt  to taste

Method:

  1. For making fish: Take a bowl add boneless fish, chopped garlic paste, chopped red chilies, turmeric, lemon juice, olive oil and salt mix it well.
  2. Now grill the fish fillet and keep it on a side.
  3. For making noodles, boil the water for 10 minutes.
  4. Now take it out filter and make it cool.
  5. When noodles becomes cool then take it out pour oil.
  6. For making dressing: Take a mixing bowl add mustard paste, worcester sauce, lemon juice, green chilies, garlic cloves, olive oil and salt mix it well.
  7. Dressing is ready.
  8. Add onion, boiled green beans, tomatoes and olive oil, take a mixing bowl mix it.
  9. Put dressing on its top.
  10. Then add fish and mix it then serve.
